LA COOKOUT

“La Cookout'' (working title) is a dance, music, and food experience that takes audiences on a journey to learn how cookouts have been a cultural connection for Latine people for generations. As our audience participates in a traditional cookout with community, food and drinks, they will engage with performances, dance and music that will guide them through the history of cookout culture and how this common party has significance that runs deep through our past.

La Cookout is in residency via the Chicago Cultural Center in 2024.
